His Story

Josiah was a rambunctious full of life 2 year old twin. Hard to keep up with was how everyone described them. They were fun. Until June 15th 2001 when our lives were changed forever. My brother was graduating that day from high school and all of us were starting to get ready to go attend the ceremony. We had just been in the pool and so the boys were still in their swimming diapers. My sister was also at the house getting ready to go and so I asked her to watch the boys while I went to pick up the sitter. As I walked out to the car I felt completely uneasy and said out loud "Why am I nervous?" So I went back into the house and told my sister to make sure the boys were in the house and the door was closed. Then I left. I was gone ten minutes and unprepared for what I walked into. My sister was all wet and I could see one of the boy's feet hanging off the counter. She said Jodie stop and I asked why and realized what she was doing. All I could do was scream out for God to raise him up. He was Completely gone. The Sheriff showed up within minutes of me and took over CPR and the paramedics right after that. It took them exactly 8 minutes from the time they got him to start his heart again. So he went about 15 minutes without air. It was enough. Josiah is now recovering slowly he has gone from completely unresponsive, blind, unable to eat, and constantly posturing and seizing. To eating smiling laughing out loud able to not only look at you but recognize people and places, he is also seizure and posturing free without medication and starting to move around, he is even playing with toy's. We have done several therapies in addition to regular therapies such as HBOT, Brain-net, acupuncture, crainiosacral. We want to try ABR and continue with the rest. We are also trying to open our own clinic for the support of brain injured children in our area for them to find hope and all the other therapies that are not in our area. Josiah will one day be 100% healed I know it with every fiber of my being. Incidentally his name mean s God Will HEAL.
