Ryan's Story:

Ryan's near drowning happened June 22, 2003, he had just turned two on the 15th.  As we were putting together his swing set in the backyard, I foolishly assumed Ryan followed his dad into the house to grab something to drink. 
 
When my husband came out he found him in the water.  I performed CPR, his brother called 911.  Initially he was taken to Kaiser, then transferred to children's hosp. in Madera.
 
His prognosis was coma, then persistent vegetative.
 
He was released exactly one month later.  He was not offered rehab or coma stimulation.  Once we got home I found HUGS on the web and read about HBOT.  We took Ryan up to Chico CA within days of learning about this treatment.
 
After four 1 hour treatments, Ryan began moving his legs a bit and looking around.  He had a total of 120 treatments.  He's eating pureed foods, swallowing very well, starting to creep on the floor, doing wonderfully well in CE school in San Jose.
